Dave Skow
Role: Director
Phone: 02 6921 1255
Follow me: Twitter
Quick Bio: From humble beginnings as a sales assistant in Wagga Wagga, Dave Skow has a wealth of experience which has seen him rise to the top of his profession and become a leader amongst the youth of the Australian real estate industry.
Aiming to set a new standard, Dave has accomplished most of his achievements as the youngest to do so. After becoming the youngest selling agent in Wagga at age 20, Dave moved to Sydney to broaden his horizons. His hard work and dedication to the industry saw Dave teach his first real estate class at 21 for REINSW, making him the youngest real estate trainer in the country. He then took up a full time position with REINSW as a Trainer & Assessor. Specialising in Certificate of Registration and Licensing subjects, Dave's laid back and friendly approach in the classroom earned him respect amongst his peers and saw him being invited to present for major franchise groups such as Ray White, Elders and Raine & Horne, to name but a few.
At 23, Dave was appointed as the youngest ever State Real Estate Manager of a large, national franchise group which saw him overseeing 94 real estate offices throughout NSW and ACT. This challenging role taught him just about all there is to know about what to do (and just as importantly, what not to do) as a real estate agency Principal.
Then, in October 2008, Dave decided it was time to return to the city he loved, Wagga. It is here that Dave is now the youngest real estate agency Director, operating Wagga's youngest property management business. Starting from scratch, he has used his superior industry knowledge and impeccable customer service skills to grow the business to over 170 properties under management in the businesses' first 16 months of trading.
Dave believes that giving back to the industry is important, and continues to teach for REINSW monthly. In 2008 he was appointed the innaugeral Chairman of the REINSW Young Agents Chapter, using the chapter as a platform to provide training, mentoring and networking opportunities for agents in their first years of their career.
In the same year, Dave's success was recognised by the Australian Property Institute and he was awarded as their Young Professional of the Year.
Dave Skow is an agent destined for big things; a true property professional in every sense of the word.
